Heavy Duty Field Tripod

The ShadowTech PIG0311-G tripod is a no-nonsense field tripod designed for the active outdoorsman. Paired with a direct mounted PIG Saddle, this tripod can do almost anything a more expensive tripod kit can do—at a fraction the cost. The short center column allows the shooter to get all the way down to 11.5-inch high prone position.

A removable, load bearing hook has been added to the bottom of the center column to hang weight, such as a backpack. The added weight will greatly increase tripod stability. The tripod’s feet incorporate interchangeable rubber or spiked feet (included).

The ShadowTech PIG0311-G tripod is sold as the tripod legs alone. A Saddle or ball head would be an additional purchase.
 

Product Description

Our bench spotting scope stand employs two large clamping plates to lock the stand securely to the bench. A bench thickness of one fourth inch to 12 inches is easily accommodated. The scope mounting head moves smoothly up and down on the 18 inch stainless steel shaft for proper scope height adjustment. The head locks in place with a comfortable knob and contoured locking piece. The scope mounting head incorporates a double spring loaded adjusting mechanism which permits easy target acquisition. The scope mounting surface is designed to mount one fourth to 20 threaded scopes with a mating surface of 1 to three fourths by 2 to one fourth inch or less (almost all field and spotting scopes with threaded mounts).

We usually mount the scope to the left side of the bench so all we have to do is move our head off the riflescope to view the results of our shooting. If you shoot off the bench using open sights or lower powered scopes, this is a piece of equipment that puts your spotting scope to great use.

The new HOG Saddle from ShadowTech comes with improvements from the original design.

The ShadowTech HOG MOD7 is currently a standard issue item in the US Marine Corps and other various Special Operations Units. CNC’d from a solid block of aluminum the MOD7 opens ¼-inch wider than previous units (2 11/16-inch wide). It features black oxide stainless steel bolts and guide rods.

• Anti-rotation slots to accept tripod QD plates that have video pins
